OPPO announced the launch of the Reno 12 series in the Kenyan market on 22nd August 2024, in Nairobi. Just like Reno predecessors, Reno 12 has two models: Oppo Reno 12 5G and Oppo Reno 12 F 5G
The OPPO Reno12 and Reno12 F are set for pre-order availability from August 23 to September 1, 2024. The Reno12 is offered at Ksh 69,999, while the Reno12 F is available at Ksh 49,999. Customers can place their pre-orders via the OPPO Kenya website, e-commerce partners, LOOP bank, and at OPPO’s physical stores nationwide.

The Oppo Reno 12 5G features a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 1200 nits. It runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Energy (4nm) processor, available with either 8GB or 12GB of RAM. Storage options include 256GB and 512 GB. Both phones ship with Android 14 and ColorOS 14.1.
It boasts a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP primary lens, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro sensor. A 32MP camera is available for selfies. The device is equipped with a 5000mAh battery supporting 80W wired charging and reverse charging capabilities.
The Reno 12F 5G features a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen and is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 (6nm) chipset. It offers 8GB or 12GB RAM options and 256GB or 512GB storage variants.
The camera configuration mirrors that of the Reno 12, including the front camera. However, the Reno 12F 5G distinguishes itself with a unique circular camera module design. It also includes a 5000mAh battery but supports 45W wired charging and reverse charging.
