Elon Musk’s social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, is now seeking a chunk of ad revenue from Google’s YouTube for videos on an app that lets users view the site on the biggest screen of them all-TV.
Dubbed the X TV app, the new addition marks ramped interest in the social media giant’s establishment into the video entertainment space dominated by YouTube in Kenya, with TikTok closely trailing behind.
X TV app is now live on Android TVs, Mr. Musk declared in his recent post, which is now available on LG, Amazon Fire TV, and Google TV, with more integrations coming out very soon.
The X TV app allows for effortless navigation through your timeline, viewing of trending topics, and interaction with other users. Additionally, you can stream X videos directly on your TV, offering a more engaging way to consume content.
